Snow World

Selwyn Snow World is the Snow Sports School Centre for children from 18 months to 6 years.  Kids have a ball with lots of fun and activities to do with our dedicated instructors. 

Discoverers

Discoveres is a snow awareness program for children from 18 months to 6 years that introduces children to the snow environment than can incorporate both indoor and outdoor games and activities (weather dependant). This does not involve any skiing components. Children can either do a half day or full day program.  Half Day programs begin at either 9:00am or 12:00pm and Full Day Programs begin at 9:00am.  With the Full Day  and PM program lunch is included. This program is primarly aimed at younger children. 

Explorers

Explorers is an introductory skiing based program for children 3 - 6 years of age that develops children's confidence and ability on skis and in the snow.  Half Day programs begin at either 9:00am or 12:00pm and Full Day Programs begin at 9:00am.  With the Full Day and PM program lunch is included.  Explorers are required to have alpine skis and ski boots.  All Lessons are graded.

Lesson Times

It is advisable to book all programs in advance to ensure you receive your lesson at your desired time. Please phone (02) 6454 9000 for reservations. 

Helmet Policy

Selwyn Snow Resort recommends the wearing of helmets for all skiing & snowboarding activities.  The safety of your kids is very important to us, which is why all children participating in Snowsports School Programs must wear an accredited ski or snowboard helmet.

Helmets are available to rent from all local Equipment rental stores, as well as on mountain at Selwyn's Equipment Hire.

Please be aware that missed lessons cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
